Privacy statement

This site belongs to Jeroen van Boven, trading as Trail Captures (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 69153205), Dussen, the Netherlands. I keep as little data as possible. This is what does happen.

Contact form

What you enter (name, email address, message) reaches me as an email. I use it only to reply and keep it no longer than needed for that contact. To prevent abuse, the sender's IP address is briefly stored on the server.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics services. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and troubleshooting. When you zoom in on the trails map, your browser loads map tiles from OpenTopoMap (opentopomap.org); that service sees your IP address, as any website you visit does. The Topo button on the map switches this off.

AI Captures (photobooth) photos

Photos taken during a party are only reachable through the guest's own QR link and through a password-protected gallery for the client. For the AI edit the photo is sent to the service performing the edit (Google Gemini or a comparable service) and is not kept there for other purposes. Thirty days after the party I remove the photos from the site, unless agreed otherwise with the client. If you want a photo of you removed sooner, email me.

Photos on this site

The portfolio pages show photos of people who gave permission. Are you in a photo and don't want to be? One email is enough.

Your rights

You can always ask what data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Email jeroen@trailcaptures.nl.
