About me

A sporty adventurer with a camera in hand.

Long ago, when photos still had to be developed, I studied at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. In my studio in Rotterdam I shot for business magazines, among others, and made large-format images for trade show banners with a technical camera. When a challenging IT project abroad came along, photography faded into the background. The years flew by.

During long treks through the Alps the fire came back. Looking out over a rugged ridge the name Trail Captures came to me, and it stuck. By now the professional camera gear is complete again, and alongside my IT work I gladly pick up the camera for a trek or an assignment.
